gave my conference talk in the morning. my first experience with the hopin platform, and i have to say, it seems like a solid tool. also big props to the conference organizers for having a live moderator in the “room” with me — massively helpful to be able to do a live “can you see my screen and hear me okay” test with a real person.
all that said, i think i’m done with the virtual conference thing — it’s just not for me. i appreciate folks trying to keep this stuff going during the current un-normal times, but i just don’t get enough out of participating to make it feel worthwhile.
