today was the day ms17 became ms18. we spent most of the day doing stuff she wanted to do. in the late morning, we had a number friends drive through the driveway while we stood outside and chatted with them, masked and distanced. easily the most socializing we’ve done in months, and it was strangely mentally exhausting.
