this was an official work holiday for me (thanks new company!) but i mostly treated it as a normal work day — mainly because the kids still had school and the wife still had to work and really what else would i have done to keep my mind off things?
the doom tv watching started around 6pm and i think i finally gave up around 2am. cringe night.
