had one of those awesome mornings where i spontaneously and completely woke up about 15 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. i love it when that happens.
had breakfast and then prepped a boule from the dough i’d made yesterday. had my early morning standup meeting, then got that into the oven. worked on miscellaneous stuff while it baked. i experimented with a much longer rise period, and it ended up being not terribly pretty. perhaps something more in the middle next time?
in the afternoon, a bit of this, bit of that, and then took a walk because i’d kinda painted myself into a corner with PROJECT APOLLO and needed to mull that over. back for a quick dinner, then a virtual hack salem meetup (via rocket.chat) in the evening. contrary to the post title, it was quite nice and not sad at all. i enjoyed the lower-key text-only chat environment more than i think i would have a video hangout, where i would have felt compelled to be “on” all the time.
can’t believe that yesterday was 60 days of The Isolation and i didn’t even note it here. makes me wonder a bit what the next notable milestone is — is it 70? (that would be 10 weeks!) maybe 75? …100?
lunch: sandwich
dinner: leftover carnitas tacos
